Deb Crowe Schlosser Beats Cancer

Deep thoughts with Deb Crowe

4 down, 8 to go

Howdy. It’s been a rough couple of days again. It’s been so long since I’ve had to stay in bed, but here we are again. It’s my tummy. It doesn’t like food right now. Not sure why – doc says Taxol (current ‘mo) doesn’t really do this but who knows. I’m just a sensitive creature when it comes to meds.

And I’ve got 2 more months, or 8 more weekly doses, to go.

I’ll take as many prayers & good healthy thoughts that y’all care to share. Pile ’em on. Thank you so much for any & all love you send my way. Here’s a round of hugs for each & every one of you.

PS – Here’s some good news – my hair is growing back!!! I’ve got tiny baby fuzz covering my noggin. Solid white, so far. I don’t care – I’ll just take hair!

Go Deb! šŸ™ŒšŸ½ Praying for you regularly, and even more so as your tummy finds its rhythm with this new medicine. Sending so much love šŸ’• and I’ll be putting in a word with the folks in charge of time… hoping they can either speed it up or at least make it feel like it’s flying by, so this chapter’s soon in the rearview. Xoxo

I love you so much. Although I haven’t been in touch lately, you are on my mind every day. My love and light is always headed your way. I am in Austin for my grandson’s 11th birthday today. I have been all over the place since Aug 13th and come home on Sept. 13th. I am so ready to be home.

I hope your tummy feels better soon. I also hope I am able to come visit in the near future and rub your fuzzy white head. Feel free to slap my hand away but I just know myself and I will automatically do it. I probably shouldn’t have told you that in case you won’t let me come. But when you are ready I need a Deb fix. You have been such a trouper through all of this hard stuff. As has your handsome Steve. Know there is light at the end of the tunnel. I just made 2 years since open heart surgery and you will be amazed at the new me. I certainly am. It seemed like I would never be the same and then all of a sudden I was better than I ever have been even at 73. Seeing you comfortable, healed and happy. So glad you are in my life. You certainly made it brighter.

    Love, Mean Jean
