The Ballad of Pancho & Lefty

Pancho & Lefty are now the names of my friends who will soon be leaving my body. Lefty is the current bad guy, although both of them have provided me with a lifetime of problemas. It’s getting much easier to want to say: Adios, Muchachos! Hasta la vista!!!

This week has been tough. I’m stuck between insurance & health care providers just to get a referral for chemo. Seriously. I can’t move forward with any of the treatment because 2 businesses can’t see beyond red tape of just the first phase of treatment. Here’s hoping that this pattern will not continue.

This week has also been overwhelming with new information. Every single visit with a specialist Dr. has provided more information of what’s to come in greater (sometimes more painful) details, but they also seem to be correcting the information of what the previous Dr. has said, so I’m still fuzzy on even estimations of when things will happen.

Haven’t been sleeping well. Am way behind on work. Every time I plan to sit down & get caught up on work, I end up needing to deal with phone calls from someone who wants to schedule me for something new or discuss insurance instead. I’m already so over this, but gotta long way to go.

Tired. Weary. Persevering!
