This impression summarizes findings from a PET/CT or similar imaging study. Here’s a simplified explanation: Primary malignancy in the left breast is mildly hypermetabolic→ The main tumor in the left breast shows mild metabolic activity, which suggests cancer is present but not extremely aggressive or fast-growing based on glucose uptake. Metastatic lymphadenopathy in the left axilla/subpectoral region is mildly hypermetabolic→ Some nearby lymph nodes under the arm and chest wall show mild signs of cancer spread. No evidence of distant metastasis→ There is no sign that the cancer has spread to organs like the lungs, liver, bones, or brain.
